Resilience Kit

Emergency resilience kit with orange bag, two water containers, hand crank radio, and manual guide.

Our Resilience Kit is designed to support a household of up to 4 people who are isolated at home without access to services such as power, gas and water for up to 3 days. (Additional items can be added to support more household members).  The kit is designed to supplement items you will likely have at home to support your household while you are isolated.

The Resilience Kit is a custom made rescue-orange bag with waterproof zips and a transparent lid.  It has strong webbing handles and can be adapted to become a larger kit with the addition of our Evacuation Kit.  It comes with tamper-proof, numbered zip-ties to seal the kit and provide peace of mind that necessary items have not been removed unexpectedly.  Inside the kit are instructions to setup and customise your kit to suit your household, as well and details for replenishing used items.

The Resilience Kits include an Emergency Manual for large-scale events and disasters in Australia.  Our manual works on a system of Prepare/Survive/Recover which integrates with the approach of Australian Emergency Service providers.  The manual is an integral part of the kit, with important instructions relating to preparing for, surviving and recovering from the common events Australian households may experience.  There are templates at the back of the manual to record important contact details that you may need if you are involved in a large scale event such as a natural disaster such as your power company, insurance company etc.
